Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has approved NBA health and safety protocols and is eligible to play in Monday’s home game against the Miami Heat.
Green played 34 minutes in the Warriors’ Christmas Day win over the Phoenix Suns, dishing 10 assists, while scoring eight points and grabbing eight rebounds.
Subsequently, the three-time NBA champion was placed in the protocols. It was not included in Sunday’s injury report.
While Golden State is free Sunday, Green can now work out at the Chase Center if he chooses.
Green is averaging 8.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists this season. The Warriors went 1-1 in his absence.
