Ángel Di María, new case of Covid in Paris Saint Germain

Bad news for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which this Thursday reported that Ángel Di María and Julián Draxler were positive in the COVID-19 tests.

Fideo had been negative before starting his return from Rosario, at the beginning of this 2022, but now he joins the outbreak of the Parisian squad. Both players are already isolated.

On Wednesday, Lionel Messi was able to return to France, after having spent the disease confined in his hometown, this Thursday he underwent medical examinations and would be available for the match with Lyon.

Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma had been the latest contagion announced by PSG this week.

The club had communicated on Sunday and Monday the positives of Danilo, Leo Messi, Bernat, Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala, but from that list the Spanish defender has already come out, so now there are still six personnel out of work due to coronavirus.

Sports training thus reflects the strong expansion of covid infections caused by the omicron variant. In France, for a week there have been around 200,000 cases a day.
