The Lara Cardinals took advantage of a quality start from Néstor Molina to defeat the Navegantes del Magallanes 3-1 on Saturday and took advantage of the defeat of the Caribes to assume the leadership of the round robin that will define the two finalists of the Venezuelan League of Professional Baseball.

The victory went to Francisco Carrillo (1-0) with a one-run inning and two hits, and Ángel Guillen (1-1) lost, shaken with four scores in a relay with no outs.
In the absence of six days, Cardenales de Lara lead the round of all against all with a record of 7-3, followed by Caribes de Anzoátegui (6-3), Navegantes del Magallanes (6-4), Tigres de Aragua (4-6 ) and Leones del Caracas (1-8).
