The New York Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers, 130-121. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 24 of his 29 total points in the second half as Donte DiVincenzo (Playoff career-high 28 points, along with 6 rebounds and 4 assists) and Josh Hart (19 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists) added 47 points for New York. The Knicks now lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0, with Game 3 taking place on Friday, May 10, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN.
Josh Hart has now recorded 102 rebounds in the first 8-games of the Playoffs for the Knicks. He鈥檚 the first Knick since Patrick Ewing (109 rebounds from June 5 to June 22, 1994) to record 100+ rebounds over an 8-game span in the Playoffs.
Hart is the first Knick to record 100+ rebounds in the FIRST 8 GAMES OF A POSTSEASON run since Dave DeBusschere (113 rebounds) and Willis Reed (111 rebounds) did so from March 25, 1971 to April 11, 1971.
