Luka Doncic added 37 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists for the Mavericks in the victory, while Dillon Brooks (season-high 29 points) and Fred VanVleet (24 points, 12 assists) combined for 53 points for the Rockets in the losing effort. The Mavericks win their third straight game as they improve to 48-30 on the season, while the Rockets fall to 38-40.

The Rockets are eliminated from playoff contention in the loss.
